hey ladies!
it's my 18th birthday on friday (i dont know how important 18 is in the states, but in the UK its the big one, 21 doesnt really mean anything here), and i'm going out in Camden town with my sisters and a couple of friends.
as far as i know anything goes in Camden, and you'll find people from every walk of life, but i was thinking of a slightly vampy gothic look. i'm planning on wearing a cream tiered lace dress, and this is a look i hope will look good with it...
so this is the look, its basically a cool complexion, (using my trusty white foundation cream from Barry M), with heavy winged liner and a very strong dark berry lip. i'm normally terrified of strong lips, so this is a bit of a venture for me!
so basically, i'm posting this because i'm not sure. opinions?? help!

New lip colours/Swatches!
i have been looking for a rose gold lipstick for SO LONG and the other day i was in superdrug, looking at the NYC stand and i found exactly that! and they were 3 for 2, so i couldnt resist getting 3! the formula is quite nice, but i'm not a fan of the packaging, i feel that the clear lids look a bit tacky.
as you can see, i mainly gravitate towards nude (not concealer, 'my lips but better') shades, but its a habit i'm trying to break!!
what do YOU think of nude lipsticks? will you be trying any of these?

i also picked up 2 more of the sleek true colour lipsticks, which are a long time fave of mine, and have beautiful NARS-esque packaging!as you can see, i mainly gravitate towards nude (not concealer, 'my lips but better') shades, but its a habit i'm trying to break!!

Body Chain Jewelry
hey guys! i recently discovered American brand, Armor Jewelry, and i fell in love with their designs.
the only problem is that a) they are an american company so getting anything delivered here would be costly, if even possible, and b) they are waaaay out of my price range.
so, taking inspiration from this deisgn
and this project on cut out and keep, i bought this nacklace from Ann Summers to make my on version.
it didn't take me too long, and cost about £10 in total because i actually bought the necklace on ebay, not directly from ann summers. i don't know how i feel about the back of it, and i may change it later, but i am really pleased with the overall effect, and i plan to make a few more ites inspitred by armor's collection
side view:
and a back view. most of you won't know this abou me, but i actually have a scoliosis, whihc means that my spine is curved into an S shape, which makes my shoulders uneven. i hate how much it shows in these pictures, but i dont often look at my back, so i geuss i'm not used to seeing what it relly looks like!
what do you think? do you like Armor jewelry? What do you think of body chains in general?

oranges and lemons... FOTD
i bought this dress from Primark the other day after seeing it in LOOK magazine, and i have to say, i LOVE it.
i was inspired to create a makeup look that was suitably feminine to go with it!
unfortunately i couldn't get a good shot of the dress, but its basically a prom shape with a print of lots nd lots of lemons, here is a photo taken from the primark website
